Terms and Conditions of Sale for Accommodation Rentals at Domaine La Védence

1. Purpose of the rental

Domaine La Védence and the Tenant confirm that this rental does not concern premises rented for use as a primary residence or for mixed professional and primary residential use. Consequently, they agree that their respective rights and obligations will be governed by the provisions of these T&Cs and by the decree of December 28, 1976, as amended, and failing that, by the provisions of the Civil Code. The premises covered by this contract are rented furnished for seasonal use. The Tenant reserving accommodation for a specified period may not, under any circumstances, claim any right to remain on the premises.

2. Online booking

The general terms and conditions of sale and cancellation related to online bookings remain the same as for bookings by telephone or email. Online booking solutions require checking the "acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale" box before any purchase. Upon receipt of the online reservation, the Tenant will receive a confirmation email. An invoice will be sent to the Tenant within 48 hours following their departure.

3. Rental prices

The displayed rates are prices for the entire house, regardless of the number of occupants. Tourist taxes are included in the price.

4. Secure payment

For financial transactions, Domaine La Védence's website uses an external payment solution. With this system, your credit card payment is made directly on the secure server of the online bank. At no time will your credit card number be communicated to the Domaine.

5. Cancellation by the Tenant

In case of cancellation by the Tenant 15 days before the start date of the stay, the payment will be refunded in full. Within 15 days before the start date of the stay, no refund will be possible. In the event of early departure during the stay or non-presentation, no refund will be possible.

6. Cancellation by the Owner

If for any reason, independent of Domaine La Védence's will, before the stay, the owner is required to cancel the reservation before the start of the stay, they will inform the Tenant immediately and refund the full amount paid, without any compensation being possible. However, Domaine La Védence undertakes to make every effort to find the Tenant equivalent accommodation.

7. Hours

Arrivals are usually between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Departures between 8:00 am and 11:00 am. Late arrivals or early departures are subject to the acceptance of the managers of Domaine La Védence.

8. Use of premises

The renter and all occupants will use the house, the pool, the garden, and all facilities at their own risk. They agree to obtain insurance for any damages caused. Domaine La Védence disclaims all responsibility in case of an accident.

Pets are not allowed.
Noisy parties and events gathering a large number of people are not allowed.
Smoking is prohibited inside the house, in the bedrooms, and common areas.
Children are under the responsibility of their parents during the stay, who will ensure the safety of their children, especially in outdoor areas, stairs, and the pool. Parents will also ensure that fragile furniture is not damaged by their children.
It is required to respect all the furniture and objects of the place and to peacefully use the rented accommodation. Occupants undertake to return Mas Gascon in good condition, to declare and financially assume any damage or broken or lost item for which they are responsible as exclusive occupants. If items listed in the inventory are broken or damaged, Domaine La Védence will claim reimbursement of their value upon presentation of a corresponding invoice.
The tenant will not be able to take any action against Domaine La Védence in case of theft and damage in the rented premises. He will respect the maximum number of people who can enter the premises, in accordance with the description on the website.
The tenant may not object to the visit of the premises if the management of Domaine La Védence or its representative requests it.
In the event of the premises being returned in an advanced state of dirtiness, Domaine La Védence reserves the right to charge additional cleaning fees.

9. Security deposit

Upon entering the premises, a credit card imprint of 500 Euros (not debited) will be taken as a security deposit to cover damages and/or deterioration of the accommodation and furniture and objects furnishing the accommodation caused by the Tenant, as well as losses of keys or objects. The security deposit will be refunded to the Tenant within 24 hours after their departure, after deduction, if necessary, of the sums covering damages and/or deterioration of the accommodation and furniture and objects furnishing the accommodation caused by the Tenant.

10. Assignment and subletting

This rental agreement is concluded intuitu personae for the sole benefit of the Tenant identified at the time of booking. Any assignment of the temporary occupation right, any total or partial subletting, any provision (even free), are strictly prohibited. The Tenant may not leave the premises, even for free and/or by lending to a person outside their household.

11. Property Inspection and Inventory

Upon entering the accommodation, the Tenant will receive an electronic video inventory and a list of utensils, cutlery, towels, and other accessories provided by Domaine La Védence. The Tenant may contest the condition of the premises and the inventory conducted by Domaine La Védence within 48 hours of arrival. Failure to contest within this period will imply acceptance without reservation by the Tenant. A comparative inventory and property inspection will be conducted upon the Tenant's departure. In the event of damage, loss, breakage, or deterioration, Domaine La Védence reserves the right to take action against the Tenant.

12. Amendment of Terms and Conditions

Domaine La Védence reserves the right to amend these general terms and conditions of sale if deemed necessary for the proper operation of the establishment.

13. Data Protection Law

In accordance with Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, concerning data processing, files, and freedoms, the Client has the right to access and rectify their personal data. Domaine La Védence undertakes not to transmit the information provided by the Client to other companies or organizations for advertising purposes.
