A change of pace
As you leave the main roads behind, the landscape opens up and the rhythm slows. Rolling hills, fields and tree-lined paths reveal a different way of experiencing time. La Védence unfolds naturally, just like this.

A region to explore
La Védence is set within a landscape of gentle hills, bastide towns and hilltop villages, typical of Gascony. Here, time stretches out, horizons खुलen, and every turn in the road reveals a hidden heritage site, a village restaurant or an unexpected viewpoint.
To help plan your discoveries, the Gers Tourism Board website is an excellent resource for exploring the region and its many treasures.
Marsolan
Marsolan lies along the GR65, the Via Podiensis route of the Camino de Santiago. Walkers often gather at Le Chemin de Table, a small bar, restaurant and grocery store with a lovely terrace in the heart of the medieval village. You will be warmly welcomed by France-Line and Thierry, the owners. Be sure to visit the Notre-Dame du Rosaire church (16th century) and wander through the village streets.

Lectoure
Lectoure is a jewel of history and charm in the heart of Gascony. Perched on a limestone promontory, it offers breathtaking views over the surrounding valleys. With its ramparts, townhouses and the majestic Saint-Gervais and Saint-Protais Cathedral (14th century), Lectoure embodies authenticity and elegance. The main street, running through the town, is renowned for its shops, antique dealers and small restaurants. Famous for its thermal waters since Antiquity, the town invites relaxation and discovery of its rich cultural heritage. Between lively festivals, colourful markets and refined local cuisine, Lectoure enchants visitors seeking unique experiences and the gentle Gascon way of life.
